I'm a Part of Pasumian 2013/2014 Part VII (Separation & IV)

Assalamualaikum my precious readers.

Allah... Still can't stop my tears...

Singkatnya tempoh setahun, tapi masih mampu menyulam cinta, yang bakal kekal hingga ke syurga, InSya'Allah. Though we are aware of parting and separation, but still, brave enough to create memories that will eventually put us in a deep sadness.

“Kak Farah, itulah orang kata, jangan suka-suka sangat, nanti kesedihan yang bakal dialami teruk.”

“Allah... I don't even feel any regret creating beautiful memories in PASUM. Teringat dulu masa MHS, abang FP itu kata, memang penat PASUM ini but once you've finished your PASUM year, awak akan rasa sedih nak tinggalkan PASUM.”

“Aku dah nak balik. Thanks for everything. Jumpa dekat Faculty of Dentistry, UM nanti, InSya'Allah“ - Juwairiyah Wafa

People walk into your life, giving hope, sadness, memory and many more. But the most important part is the love they gave to you though for only just a few months. Biar pupus dari pandangan, asalkan tidak luput dari ingatan. One of my favourite things to do as I realize this PASUM days going to end sooner than what I've expected is capturing photos.

“So lame Kak Farah. Macam budak-budak yang tak matang je.”

Fine. Know what, through blogging, capturing pictures, writing, at least I can recall all the memories and share them with others.

“Tidak semua orang suka buang masa tulis blog macam Kak Farah kan?”

OK. Double fine there. It's about satisfaction people~

“Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes. For those who love with their hearts and soul, there is no such thing as separation. Do not grieve, something you lose might comes in another form. Do not fear the future, as nothing will last forever.” - Mewlana Jalaluddin Rumi

I like being alone,
I like drinking coffee alone, and reading alone.
I like riding the bus alone, and walking home alone.
It gives me time to think, and set my mind free.

But when I see a mother with her child,
a lady with her zauj,
or maybe a friend with his or her best friend,
I realize that even though I like being alone,
I don't fancy being alone.

Enough talking about separation and parting. Nanti Kak Farah menangis tak pasal-pasal kena gelak dengan penghuni rumah ini nanti. Now let's talk about interview. Last year, I was totally busy with all this interview stuff dan sangat memenatkan bila kena travel here and there. Interview PASUM, PETRONAS at Taylor University, MARA in Bangi, FELDA at The Zone in Ampang, dan seangkatan dengannya. Almaklum, Kak Farah bukan anak VVIPPPPPPP, nak sambung belajar terpaksa cari scholarship.
Dan tahun ini, terpaksa mengharungi benda yang sama tapi tak sepenat tahun lepas. And just finished my interview this morning, seriously nervous. Semua yang datang dengan bawa kertas dan script, I was like,

“Allah... I'm not as well prepared as them.”

Sebab dulu, ingat lagi, bila jumpa interviewer, just talk and talk and talk as if you are not going to stop. Sampai kehausan pun ada. Sudahlah kena duduk sebelah orang yang hebat-hebat, pelajar emas pun satu group dengan Kak Farah. Risau but managed to keep calm and talk almost fluently with them.

Some of the tips during interview:

1. Knock the door first.
2. Ask, may I come in?
3. Walk confidently and hand it your certs to the panels (just do it even if they didn't ask)
4. Ask, may I be seated?
5. First question : Introduce yourself
6.Lelaki tak sesuai pakai baju stripes / kotak-kotak. Baju plain, seluar hitam & kasut hitam.
Perempuan sesuai pakai baju kurung. Tudung jangan fancy sangat.
7. Do your resume, at least compile your certificates neatly.
8. Enjoy the show. Put your mask on and keep on talking. Relax and be confident!

Some of the common questions during interview:

1. What makes you feel so passionate to become a dentist?
2. In dentistry, there are specialization, are you aware of that? Name some.
3. Case study... “If you have a friend, and he is studying dentistry just because of money, what are you going to do? Advice?”
4. Who is our VC?
5. In any field of carrier, there must be the hardest part of it. What do you think about dentistry?
6. You've watched the video and do the wire-bending test, what is your opinion about that?
7. What are the values from the video that you've watched before?
8. Do you think wire-bending test should be continue for the next intakes?
9. Rate your work out of ten.
I rate it 8 out of 10.
10. Do you have any family members or friends who inspire you to become a dentist?
*All the question are based on my experience for my UM autonomy interview for BDS, #4 is from my friend. MBBS? They might ask you about diseases or something.
40% of the places in Science-based courses are for PASUMian

P/s : Pray for me, readers. Dentist in the making. InSya'Allah, BDS Malaya this September.

بارك الله لك

السلام عليكم
