Hello Capt. Friday

Assalamualaikum ... As you all know, Friday or Jumuah is the master of all days. It brings a lot of benefits to us especially to all muslims and muslimahs out there.

Some benefits of Friday is Islam :

• Allah created Adam a.s. and he was granted an entry to alJannah on this day.
• Adam a.s. was sent to the Earth.
• Adam a.s. died on Friday.
• There is a time on Friday that Allah will granted a person his/her good wishes. There is such an hour on Friday that if any Muslim makes dua in it, his dua will definitely be accepted." (Bukhari, Muslim)
• From Asr' to Maghrib, it is said that our Du'a is accepted. *but that doesn't mean that you only have to Du'a at that period.
• It is the occurance of YaumuulQiyamah.
• Master of the weak/days.
• Rasulullah s.a.w. appeared in his mother's womb on Friday night.
• Anyone who took the Wudhu' properly, listen to the Khutbah silently, come to the Friday prayer, his minor sins will be forgiven.

Here are the sunnahs you can do in Friday :

1 - Praying Fajr in congregation [al-Bayhaqi, classed as saheeh by al-Albaani, 1119]

2 - Before and during Salaat al-Jumu’ah (Friday prayer):

➲ Bathing on the day of Jumuah [Bukhari & Muslim: #1951 & #977]
➲ Going early to Jumuah prayer [Bukhari & Muslim: #929 & #1964]
➲ Walks to Jumu’ah prayer [al-Tirmidhi, 496]
➲ Listening attentively to the Jumu’ah Khutbah (Sermon) [al-Bukhaari (934) & Muslim (851)]

3 - Seeking the hour of having one's prayer answered on Jumuah day [Bukhari & Muslim: #935 & #1969]

4 - Reading Surah Al-Kahf [al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249]
5 - Sends blessing on the Prophet Muhammad (sallAllaahu 'alaihi wa sallam) [Ibn Majah, #1085); Abū Dawūd, #1047]
